Frequently Asked Questions
How many stores can I create?
Each account can create up to 5 stores maximum. The free plan allows 1 store, while Premium plans (monthly or yearly) allow up to 5 stores.
What devices are required for 3D object capture?
To create 3D scans of your dishes, you need an iPhone Pro model with LiDAR scanner:
Compatible models: iPhone 12 Pro, 13 Pro, 14 Pro, 15 Pro, 16 Pro, 17 Pro (and all Pro Max variants).
Note: All iOS devices running iOS 14.0+ can view AR content, but only Pro models with LiDAR can create 3D scans.
Can customers view AR on any device?
Yes! Once you create 3D models using your iPhone Pro, any customer with an iPhone or iPad running iOS 14.0 or later can view your dishes in augmented reality, regardless of whether they have a Pro model.
What file formats are supported?
Images are automatically resized to 400px width for optimal performance. USDZ files (3D objects) up to 50MB are supported for iOS devices with AR capabilities.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
You can manage your subscription anytime through your App Store subscription settings. To cancel, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > The Lazy Potato, and select Cancel Subscription. You'll retain premium access until the end of your billing period.
Can I import menu items in bulk?
Yes! The app supports CSV import for menu items. You can create categories and items quickly by uploading a properly formatted CSV file through the admin interface.
How do QR codes work for public menus?
Each menu gets a unique URL (e.g., thelazypotato.com/m/your-menu-slug) that anyone can access without authentication. You can generate QR codes pointing to this URL and place them on tables, allowing customers to view your menu on their own devices.
Is my data secure?
Yes! We use secure cloud storage (AWS S3) and follow industry best practices for data protection. All data transmissions are encrypted. Read our Privacy Policy for complete details.
