This release (2.0) is a small one on paper, but an important step forward.
Over the last few weeks, I realised something I had overlooked. Some restaurants were actively using The Lazy Potato on iPads. The app worked, but it was still behaving like a stretched mobile app. That was on me.
So in the latest update, all views have been optimised specifically for iPad. Layouts breathe better. Spacing feels intentional. Screens no longer look like they are pretending to be mobile. The changes are subtle, but if you use the app on an iPad, it now genuinely feels like it belongs there.
This also opens up interesting possibilities for the future. Once the app feels native on larger screens, it gives me more flexibility to explore ideas like using an iPad as a kiosk or a dedicated screen for incoming orders. Nothing planned yet, but the foundation matters.
I have added screenshots below so you can see the difference for yourself.
